Thank you, I just feel worried I'm going to cause some weird rift with my vet as he is her IM and there does not seem to be a lot of internal medicine options for my area. So, I don't really want to burn bridges but also don't want my girl sick.

I broke down and gave her gastrobiome which is chicken stew. She wolfed it down. It hurts so much to know how much I'm depriving her being on this HP diet. I broke all the rules today after 13 weeks, but she was barely eating. I'm afraid of the fallout now, but too late I guess.

Consider a lower litter pan (your mention of him not being able to jump on your bed made me think of this) and definitely try having a second one. My cat likes to do her poo and pee in separate boxes.

Interesting thought, I just feel that her hunching directly after eating indicates it is pain or discomfort, but in her intestines rather than something like arthritis.

Thanks, my vet mentioned this at the beginning of our journey as an option he would happily pursue when/if need be. At the moment, I have her eating again and taking her meds. The pilling isn't a hold-up per se, I am just not seeing 6 pills a day as a sustainable quality of life in the long run...
