Hello all, I have been fighting ringworm for a while now. My cats have had sulfur dips, medicated baths, and finally oral Terbinafine. I have been running DTM cultures for the past month and a half and none have turned red. (I have been running my own cultures since it is much cheaper than doing...
Sorry, I forgot to update. The $400 was for the emergency vet over the weekend which I decided against. I took her to our regular vet Monday and everything is fine. Just the one kitten. And he is fattest, cutest little thing ever since he has all the milk to himself.
She is acting normal for the most part. She is eating and drinking good. The kitten is still doing great. No more pushing or contractions still. She meows at me a little more than usual but walks around the house with me a bit then goes straight back to her baby so I think everything will be ok. 🙂
I recently adopted a cat, about 2 weeks ago. Last night she went into labor and had one little male kitten about 2am (about 18 hrs ago). I didn’t even know she was pregnant as her sides were not sticking out at all. She just looks like a well fed cat with a squishy stomach. Her stomach was not...
I contacted Amanda Ganni with CFA and she sent the pictures to the breed council and got back with me. They said he does have red on him, but i will wait and see. He is only 4 weeks old at the moment so i am sure his color will still change a bit.
They wouldn't tell me what color he is considered. They just kept telling me that he is probably a girl, that i just cant tell yet and that it is very rare for a male to have red and black on them.
Yes, i sent pictures to the CFA breed council to check. They said he is red, white and black and that he is a genetic anomaly if he is male. Not sure is he is considered calico or brown tabby patch? Either way he is a sweet little boy and i will be keeping him (or her?).
Well if it is in fact a boy, then he is a very special little boy! He is a calico. Cfa has told us that if it is a boy he is a genetic anomaly. I thought he was a boy when i looked a couple weeks ago when his fur was shorter, but now im second guessing myself. All i saw was 2 little dots far...
Thank you. I was thinking male because of the distance and the females are very clearly females, no question. They will be taken to the vet soon so i will also ask him.
Thank you! I thought so. There's almost an inch between his anus and what looks like a little pp so I thought boy. Looks like his little scrotum is what's in the middle. Well it's cheaper to get him neutered rather than spayed and we are happy with either so win win for us!
I just got this kitten today. I was told it was a female, but it looks so much like a male to me. Needless to say I don't have much experience telling the difference which is why I'm posting here. Sorry if this is in the wrong place! We plan to get it spayed or neutered. I have blurry pictures...
