Thanks StefanZ!! Well thats a long color name for sure :) No, there really aren't white patches....her throat and belly are lighter but not white.  Blue lynx torbie, COOL!

I have always called this girl a Calico but after reading this thread,( and others) I no longer think that is right. Previously I thought the large white patches made her calico but now since her colors are swirled together I wonder if she is Tortiseshell and white with tabby?   

I hope no one minds if  I renew this thread.  Is Midori considered to be a combination of calico an tabby because of the orange mixed in?  Is a tabby stripes only?

Thanks Shmendan,   a white shaded tabby, I hope she stays this light but my guess is she will get darker as she gets older.

This is my new cat, I call her Missy, for now.  She is supposed to be part Rag Doll.  She is the most laid back, relaxed, gentle young cat I have ever had.  Even when my dh plays a bit rough she doens't put out her claws.  As my son says she will let you place her; what ever position you pick...

So this is my kitten, Pepper.  Physically: she has large very tufted ears, very soft fluffy fur, would not say it is a double coat; it is longest on her torso but shorter on her legs, face and underneath.  Not sure how much her adult coat will change. She has long hind legs, slightly awkward...
