    Dew Claws

Yup, you have a polydactyl kitty on your hands! Yay! My cat Storm has extra digits. She has a dew claw on all four legs and two extra digits on top of the dew claw on her front paws, so eight extra toes in all.

    Window watchers?

That's a great idea, if we didn't rent I would probably do that. But you know I was just thinking now I've had a cat all my life (well since I was like 5) and never worried about the windows before...why start now?? lol, things are so much different when you move out and have your 'own' house!

    Window watchers?

No, unfortunately we are renting. Out windows are very secure, I guess I'm just paranoid, I went around pushing screens the other night, to see how secure they were and I couldn't budge them without significant force. DH got locked out the other day and had to cut the screen to get in so I...

    Window watchers?

They are not easy to push out, they're quite a pain in the rear to remove actually. There is one screen upstairs that is easy to push out but I don't leave that window open enough for her to climb into it, and when it gets very hot this summer I'm going to put a fan into it so she shouldn't be...

    What Do You Use?

I have some homemade teasers, one has the foil 'da bird' attachment on it, a few different feather ones, a fishy toy that I've sewn up, she LOVES this flappy bird stuffed toy that came from a wal-mart teaser (she carry's that thing all over the house!), though Storm's favorite toys are pens, yes...

    Window watchers?

Does anyone worry about their kitty pushing out their window screens? I am absolutely paranoid that Storm will get a burr up her hiney and try to escape through an open window. Am I justified in this worry, lol? She LOVES sitting in the living room and kitchen windows and though they feel secure...

What ant repellents can be safely used?

No, they don't have to ingest it, just come in contact with it. It works my 'cutting' their body and dehydrating them. The GF DE is a very absorbent porous material.

What ant repellents can be safely used?

Cinnamon is also a great bug repellent, I use some around all my doors and windows and then I hide the ant traps under the stove, fridge, and kitchen sink where my kitty can't get to them.

    My poor Shrimp!

I'm so sorry for your losses, just feel comfort in the fact that you gave her the best life possible while she was with you, fighting for her until the end. <<hugs>>

    Breed question

But couldn't there be some apple-head Siamese in there? Not all Siamese cats are the 'modern' wedge headed ones. The female looks A LOT a like my past kitty who was a Siamese+white DSH, only she has longer hair.
