    Cat pooing everywhere

Thanks for the reply - yes, she was spayed when we got her. I guess if it continues we'll just have to take a trip down to the vets to get her checked out for any infections. It is just so weird how it has suddenly started happening and she quite happily leaves trails of poo(!).

    Cat pooing everywhere

Hi there, I've got a bit of a problem as you can probably guess from the post title. We have two cats now, both female - one we've had for years who is around 8/9 and one we adopted about 2-3 months ago who is about 2. They are both house cats as one is deaf and the younger one has sight...

Thanks for the further replies. I bought a feliway thing a couple of weeks ago so have had that plugged in (hopefully it's having some effect!). I will speak with the vet tomorrow about the potential urinary issue and look into ordering some of the cat attract litter and some enzyme spray. The other cat we want to adopt apparently has litter...

Thanks for the great responses - they have been really reassuring. 8 cats in an RV is pretty amazing! Any other tips on getting them all to rub along okay would be great. We own our flat (on a mortgage) so don't have a problem with a landlord (although there is a management company - they are...

Maximum recommended number of cats in a flat?

Hi - I'm looking for a bit of advice on what the maximum number of cats I should have is. I live with my wife in a two bedroom, modern apartment on the 1st floor of a building. We have had one cat for a few years who is deaf so she has to be an indoor cat. Last week we went to a local shelter...

Excessive miaowing, especially after visiting toilet

Hi - we have a long-standing problem with our 8 year old female cat; she is incredibly noisy throughout the day, miaowing loudly regularly. Additionally, after every toilet visit she will charge through the flat at top speed whilst letting out several blood-curdling miaows. She is deaf which...
