My cat has experienced this as well and it never occurred to me to connect it to chicken, which she eats quite a bit. @Artiemom  - do you know if a reaction to chicken is also likely to result in a reaction to turkey? (We feed foods with both.)

It kind of looks like rodent ulcer to me, too. I would definitely err on the side of caution and go ahead and take her to the vet.

Tests are back and nothing really to be concerned about. fPLI is at the top of the normal range and BUN a little higher, but creatinine and everything else is in normal range.  The vet says we will keep an eye on her, but he doesn't think there's anything wrong that isn't age-related. Thanks...
