    Blind Confusion

    Yea an air horn seems way too extreme even in a case when the cat isn't blind, we use a finger click/snap and a firm "no" when Sergeant Pepper claws the carpet, and it is starting to work, shame it's a bit late for the carpet though

    I don't know if cats suffer from dementia or not but you say it's like it's the first time he's been in your house, maybe he's getting short term memory loss and forgetting the other cats are his friends and that it's their home?

    Haha yes I only discovered that he sleeps in the cat bed last night, he is a bit of an enigma as he's really not interested in boxes, we give him plenty but just sniffs it and wanders off.
