No. Dogs are not omnivores like humans. Dogs are opportunistic carnivores. Meaning, they need meat to survive and to thrive but they can handle more plant matter in their diets than cats. It's a survival tactic not a permanent diet.

I have been informed that "natural flavor" can come from anything from chicken liver to a combination of yeasts. Sometimes it's also fat. For example, the natural flavor in Rawz is chicken liver. The natural flavor in Performatrin Ultra is a blend of chicken liver and several yeasts.
