Heard from a friend of mine that i should go with bayer tapeworm dewormer cheaper than going to the vet=(.

Bayer tapeworm contains praziquantel which is exactly the same thing what you will get at the vet. And the same strength too...

    Mysterious Inflammed Lump

Yeah, I would need to do that. Not sure how much water he drinks since I have 2 other cats drinking from the same bowls.

    Mysterious Inflammed Lump

I already tried all kinds of food, canned food, raw meat and baby food too. He doesn't like anything but he will eat a little of dry food throughout the day, often but small amounts. The best is Instinct raw freeze dried mixers. The only time when I fed him with syringe was right after biopsy...

    Mysterious Inflammed Lump

Yes, I'm sure he has pain. He got Onsior after biopsy. It seemed to help a little with his appetite. But it's only safe for 3 days. Anyway, after a few days of break I asked for more pain med and for something different but they gave me Onsior again. I'm a little scared to give him this stuff.

    Mysterious Inflammed Lump

My cat started stretching his back leg sideways while sitting a while ago. I found lump in his knee area on examination. His appetite seems to diminish a little too (that wasn't very noticeable since he was always a very picky cat). The vet took x-rays that showed some shaded area close to the...

    Hard Kibble

Thanks for suggestions. Thrive is made in UK, right? I couldn't find it here. Lotus and Orijen is pretty expensive and I have the whole zoo to feed. I felt Instinct and Simply Nourish kibble through the bag and it seemed small to me. I got Nutro Wild Frontier eventually and they seem to like it...

    Hard Kibble

I've noticed my cats don't like tiny hard kibble. They like to crunch. I tried many grain-free brands (Instinct, Wellness, Merrick and more) and they all are small. There was this VIP Nature's Goodness at my grocery store at one time and they loved the texture but disappeared after a while. I...

    vomiting and shivering

I'm thinking maybe vomiting (he vomited all his breakfast) caused sudden drop in blood sugar which can cause both cold/shivering and pale gums.

    vomiting and shivering

Well, he is better now. He perked up and ate. I'm wondering if vomiting/torsions could cause sudden feeling cold and shivering. The gums seem now the same like the other cat's...mhmm...

    vomiting and shivering

My cat Shiloh ate fine in the morning, usual stuff and a few hours later vomited. It's not  unusual, cats vomit time to time so it didn't concern me. but a while later he came to me, trying to lie down on me ( he doesn't do that normally) his paws and ears were really cold and I felt his...

    rescue cat with herpes

I didn't want to introduce her to my cats. I thought I will find her a home but this is not easy. She is here over a month and I don't know how much longer...she should go to quiet home, no cats, maybe calm dog, no kids...she is not playful. Actually, she was afraid of toys...so, this kind of...

    rescue cat with herpes

I know there is a lot about herpes on this site...but I need some opinions. Tallie's story: Tallie is a  about 7 years old Maine Coon. She was bottle fed  and strictly indoors for 6 years of her life. Her front paws are declawed :(. She was rehomed due to dogs in the household bothering her...
