    Cat poop stains.

This may sound like an odd question but how do I get my kitty to lick his butt after using his kitty litter.  Whenever he has lose stools or a piece of poop hanging he either leaves a stain or the piece of poop on my carpet or bed.  It's really annoying having to keep track of when he goes so I...

    Frightened Kitty

Rusty is about 10 months old now and I've had him since last Summer.  He's always been very attached to me,  at the beginning he had separation anxiety and would cry when I went in the shower or left home but now seems OK.  Yesterday some construction workers came to our building to install new...

Kitten constant need for attention and suckling

He was neutered in early July and the female kitten was spayed about 10 days ago.   I let him out 'cause he really likes it and cries a lot when I don't.  Maybe when the kitten gets here he won't feel so lonely and will adapt to being an indoor cat only.  Thanks for the link!  :)

Kitten constant need for attention and suckling

My kitten Rusty is now 6 months old, I got him when he was about 8 weeks old.  Ever since I got him he always wanted to suckle me, first it was my ear ( it tickled) then he moved to the skin between my forefinger and thumb, then to my inner elbow and lastly to my armpit lol which tickled even...

    Litter Training Problems

When I first got my kitten Rusty at 8 weeks I was told to place him into his litter box as soon as he's done eating 'cause that's usually the time when they go to the bathroom.  I did that and it worked almost immediately.

5 month kitten refuses to cover poop

My kitten Rusty used to step on his poop when I first got him at 2 months old.  He would poop then scratch on the litter, the sides etc all in attempts to cover his poop and in the process he would step on it then get off and track it all over the kitchen floor.  Thankfully I was always on watch...

Kitten wakes me up in the morning.

Thank you all for your comments!  I feed him before we go to bed and I leave food out for him to eat in the morning when he wakes up which he does eat but he still wakes me up AFTER he's eaten.  I guess he wants someone to keep him company.  I'll keep covering my face with the sheet and not...

Kitten wakes me up in the morning.

I got my kitten Rusty 2 months ago, he's about 4 months now and has been neutered, got his shots and been dewormed/deflead a month ago.  Ever since I got him he wakes me up early in the morning.  I searched google and found that they need to eat 4 times a day and wake you up in the morning...

Kitten constantly trying to jump on my shoulder at bedtime

So I finally got him to stop sucking on my earlobe but now he started sucking on the piece of skin between my thumb and forefinger while sitting on my lap.  That didn't bother me so I figured there was no harm in letting him do it, the problem is that now every time I sit down he sits on my lap...

Kitten constantly trying to jump on my shoulder at bedtime

Well I wouldn't mind him sleeping on my side but he'll climb on my shoulder when I'm sitting down or laying down in bed, then he'll either turn and his little butt will be right on my face (and he's gassy sometimes lol) or he'll actually lay across my throat.  I try moving him down towards my...

Kitten constantly trying to jump on my shoulder at bedtime

I got an orange tabby kitten from a friend 4 days ago.  She found it inside a box with holes under a tree, somebody had abandoned it there.  From viewing pics on Google I think it may be 6 weeks old, I think it's a boy.  I spend a lot of time with the kitten since I'm only working part- time...
