I tried everything I could afford, and Andre even rallied for a little bit, but it wasn't meant to be.  He did in my arms morning, cuddled up with me and my other cat. 

I'm very sad to say that the rally may be over.  He was drinking and eating better yesterday, and he slept with me last night.  Today though he is back to not eating.  He is sneezing a lot and has a very snotty nose.  I can tell when holding him that he has a fever too.  It may be time. 

I think it's recommended to spay cats before 6 months to avoid pregnancy.  I know of cats being spayed as early as 8-10 weeks with no issues.

I would love to seek a second opinion, but I'm running pretty low on funds.  My kids and I have both been sick for a few weeks (my son, then me, now my daughter) so I've missed work and had dr appointments and prescriptions.  Just a really bad time financially right now. 

I bought some baby food, but he won't eat any voluntarily.  I can basically force feed him using a syringe, and he swallows it.  I'll definitely do it if it can buy us some time to figure out what is wrong.  How much would he need to eat in a day to gain some weight?
