Best Cat Litter For Formally Stray Cat? Canada!

Hello! We recently adopted our second cat from the humane society and prior to being brought there he was a very friendly stray. He has integrated wonderfully to our home but definitely has the "you can take the cat out of the street, but can't take the street out of the cat" syndrome Lol!! We...

New Cat Using Bathtub As Litter Box - Help!

Apparently I spoke too soon. My hubby forgot to leave water in the tub and we came home to a nice present in the tub lol of course the day I post about being in the clear there would be a set back! We will keep trying to remember the water in the tub and hope eventually he will forget about it lol

Isolation Of Uri Shelter Cat In Home With Previous Cat?

Hello all! Just to update- we ended up letting him out and rolling the dice as he was going bonkers being locked away. I contacted my own vet who said he probably has a chronic URI and as its airborne anyway our other cat has already been exposed so no point punishing him by keeping him locked...

Isolation Of Uri Shelter Cat In Home With Previous Cat?

Thank you! Once he is "better" we can officially adopt him, and then off to our beloved vet he will go. I'm just super bummed they seem to keep brushing him off with more meds, and different techs are giving me different information :( we just want to finally integrate him into our home so...

Isolation Of Uri Shelter Cat In Home With Previous Cat?

Thank you for your reply!! We haven't taken him to our vet yet, as due to him being sick the humane society "reversed" the adoption so we are technically fostering him until he is better then officially adopting him. He stays in our care though! This is just so they can give us his medications...

When my hubby and I got our first home (before kids), we adopted a sweet shelter cat who ended up having a plethora of health issues. Large plaques on her...
