He ate dinner tonight and hasn't thrown up yet. We originally gave him about 2.7 ounces of wet food which he held down for the last two hours, just gave him the rest hoping it stays down.
I forgot to mention with his bloodwork for the teeth they ruled out kidney disease and hyperthyroidism.
Orion 6 years old cream tabby, neutered and all that jazz has me worried and im hoping to get advice.
Previously 3 years ago he had a urinary blockage and now I treat everything way out of proportion when it comes to him. Sorry if this seems helicopter.
June 15th Orion goes in for a check up...
I did not know about brine... I'll have to check with them about it, I got the chicken thighs and livers from whole foods, and the hearts from a local butcher. Do you know of any better places to get those types of cuts? Trying to find hearts was a challenge in itself. I'm in Tempe Arizona.

Hello,
We sort of unsuccessfully made the first raw batch of food . I was having major difficulties with my grinder becoming clogged with bone, and was hoping for some hints/tips on how to help prevent this and anything else that may help keeping this clean/safe.
Grinder: - STX INTERNATIONAL...
Yeah.. When he was blocked he was on a partial wet and dry mix, so it was really disappointing when I found out they were trying to send me home with a big bag of dry royal canine SO. I was like 'no" right away. But, I am thinking of investing in a grinder and starting to make my own food. Do...
Yes, she said to me and my boyfriend not to feed it to either of our cats. (no raw diets at all) This is a vet clinic that has rotating doctors, so it really might have just been her opinion. The other vet we had worked with wasn't really sure if we should or not.
I use the right amount of water that is written in the instructions on the package, if not a little more than needed because I'm always scared of a re-block, my boy Orion loves the stuff, he loves it more than Tiki cat (chicken of course) I just started to feed it to him and he really really...
Since his incident with a blockage I have done everything my vet suggested, but when my vet said no to raw feeding I was a bit confused. I have my female cat on a commercial raw diet, I'm comfortable with it, but I am really hoping my male cat will be able to join the raw food diet too. Any...
My boy Orion has been digging up our carpet, I know it is because he is trying to get out of the room he is put in while we are our of the house, but he is put in there for his own safety. I was hoping I could get some ideas to kind of make him not scratch the carpet while he is in there. He is...
So A while ago (Nov 4th) I got my girl cat (Sunrise) groomed. She was having really bad hairballs before we had gotten her groomed and after she was entirely ok, no more hairballs, no more sad retching sounds from her. It's been since Nov 4th since we got her groomed again, and she is starting...
Yeah I microwave the water for thirty seconds and just make the food into kinda if a broth around the food, my boy loves it. Just think water water water when it comes to food, he is doing amazing compared to when he was sick.
Great Idea, I'll try it tonight, I'm open to more suggestions too if anyone has any. I got some Bonito flakes last night to try and mix in with it, it seemed to work for a few bites, but then he was like "Not eating this!"
