I don't want to brag, but we here in SW Nebraska have been ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! 80 degrees today after a low  of 49, 65 -75 for the next ten days or so. We are on record I'm sure for a warn October. 75 degrees on Halloween. We have had several light frosts but no killing freeze yet. After I get the garage painted I have got to get my flower beds ready for winter, but it's so hard to pull plants that are still blooming! I love the smell of leaves crunching underfoot, and that cool 'tang' in the air is wonderful!  Even the sky seems a deeper blue!

I think your weather is heading to Chicago since tomorrow will be considerably warmer.

Same here! :clap: Today is going to be gorgeous, around 70 and sunny. Yesterday was cloudy but it still wasn't too cold. They say we're going to get through October with no snow. But they also said on the news that Jackson Hole WY has already gotten 49 inches of snow this month! :eek: They probably said that so we'd all be glad we don't live in Jackson Hole, lol.

I thought only the US messed with the clocks, setting it forward and backward in the spring and fall. I heard that they are planning on getting rid of that altogether, what a nuisance and it messes with one's circadian clock. I had no idea they did that in Finland also. Time change is this coming weekend with Halloween on Monday, kids will love that, wandering around in the dark, moms not so much. Get an hour more sleep in the morning..

It's 6 pm and has just gotten all the way dark, the sky still   had some light 15 minutes ago, sort of blue black but it's all black now. Overcast also as it has been all day. We are supposed to get another rainstorm overnight, temps dropping to low 50s, it didn't get over 65 today.

We've only had a few days and nights here that I didn't have to use air or heat.  I LOVE those days!  I still use my fans at night because I can't sleep if I'm hot AND I can't sleep unless I have covers on.  Weird I know.

I have a fan on year-round. And I definitely sleep better with covers, so I sleep with my window open, lol.

It is normal here, below 30 degrees and snowing slowly, someone else has taken your cold weather now, maybe look from southern hemisphere? :lol3:

We had our stupid clock change before Halloween, so darkness comes bit sooner now.

Some forecasts are showing possibility for permanent snow layer coming this night, it has been putting some snows and during some days it has melted off, but evenings and nights have been below freezing so coming turn to colder might put that permanent snow to very strong possibility, unless it warms at December which sometimes happens.
