I am going to put two pots on the stove today. One is going to be vegetable soup and one is going to be chili. We will have our choice and the rest will go in the freezer for some fast lunches or suppers.

Yum. I'll take some chili, please.

Red beans and rice from the crock pot.
Rick said he was really hungry for it, so I figured, well, OK.

I got a really nice pork loin on sale a couple weeks ago and it sliced into 3/4 inch chops.

I am thinking I am going to fix them tonight (sear them in a skillet, then finish them in the oven topped with apple slices and a dash of cinnamon and brown sugar), augratin potatoes and steamed asparagus and baby carrots.

There's a recipe for mac and cheese that I want to try for dinner tonight. It really sounds delicious. So that's our dinner. And I'm thinking about some coleslaw to go with it.

I am having a huge sandwich.

The roast beef from the deli was rare!! my favorite!

I plan on roast beef, cheese, mustard, a few slices of Clausen refrigerator pickles on the sandwich, on a soft bulkie roll, and a bunch of chips....

Yum!

have not had a rare roast beef sandwich for a very long time!

Ate some waffles topped with strawberries, whipped cream and chopped walnuts. Oh boy. Think I just gained 15 pounds! Sure was tasty though!
