Your dinners all sound wonderful!. Mrs. B, I could go for some ham and scalloped potatoes.

An old GF is coming for dinner tonight. Rick and I saw her at the grocery store on Thursday; we used to be rather close, but well, she married an idiot and I had issues with it. I did everything but beg her not to marry him. I know, I know, there are times when it's best to just shut up, but honestly, the guy is a jerk with a capital A. Anyway, she's having some problems and needs a shoulder. I figured that since Rick isn't home right now, it's a good time to get together for a long chat. So she's coming for dinner.

I made baked ziti last night and some garlic Parm rolls. We'll have Caesar salad with it and some Smirnoff Ice. With some  of those Vanilla Dreams (from the freezer) as dessert.

Yesterday I put some pinto beans in the crock pot with left over ham and let it cook all day. Had that with fried potatoes, mac & cheese and biscuits..... Yeah a total starchy night....LOL

I have chicken tenders in the fridge that needs to be cooked, so I will cook that and have the rest of the beans and biscuits tonight.

You're a good friend Pam.
I feel the same way about my BiL except my sister loves him, yuk, and they've been married for 48 years so I suppose he's doing something right. I just don't like him.

I had a large avocado, six cherry tomatoes halved all salted and black peppered. Then I made me a very cheese scrambled egg.

Thanks, Judy. We try. We had a great time together last night. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Last night was for us and we had a wonderful time. Rick called me around 10:30 or so and I said that she was just getting ready to leave; the problem was that she had been "just getting ready to leave" for a good 90 minutes! She finally left around midnight and I called Rick back. That was OK because it was only 9:00 in Portland. I'm tired this morning, but it was worth every single minute.

The ziti was good, BBDOLL22. It's been a while since I had it and it hit the spot. Tonight's dinner will be leftover baked ziti and salad. There's a little leftover and I don't want to freeze it.

took myself out to a neighborhood fish place. I had grilled salmon, rice pilaf, cole slaw. It also came with tartar sauce (yuk with salmon) and a small roll.

I ate half there and took the rest home for supper tomorrow...I have not had salmon for a while....

I'm the only one in the house that eats corned beef. So I went to a family market that had corned beef cabbage dinners and got myself one. I got deli meat for everyone else.
Turns out my 5 year old loves corned beef lol.

How do you make ziti and what pasta do I use if I can't get ziti.

I think I'm going to make myself a small tuna loaf for dinner tonight. With a baked potato and some green beans.

We had chicken marsala over pasta last night - BF makes a DELICIOUS homemade marsala sauce (with no mushrooms, since I don't like them :) )

Tonight is catfish, not sure how we'll season it yet, with asparagus.

Dear Richard is coming home today and he hopes to be home by 6:00 or so. I spent some time last night cleaning our grill. Lit it and it seems to be OK. So tonight, we are having grilled pork tenderloin with grilled Granny Smith apple slices. Crock pot beans and a nice salad (although I'm thinking of a cold pasta salad instead). Iced tea. And some crumb cake for dessert. I'm making a strawberry sauce to go with the crumb cake.....have to get the rest of our frozen strawberries used up.

It's going to snow tomorrow. And we went from 1-3 inches, to 3-5 inches, and now 3-6 inches. So by golly, I'm grilling tonight if it's the last thing I do!

Well, we didn't have the catfish last night, so we have to cook it tonight....

BF did a side job that kept him at work late, so we ended up going to Wild Wing - I had a "buffarella"... jalapeno cheddar wrap with grilled chicken, "Atomic Meltdown" buffalo sauce, & blue cheese dressing.
