Same here! Love, love, LOVE Pets Best! This is fine posting here with that question. Many have asked this before and it is a great one.
I use, love and swear by Pets Best Insurance. I couldn't be more happy with the customer care and the fast turnaround to be paid back. Very caring company. I highly recommend them. A few of us here use Pets Best. http://www.petsbest.com/landing/pet-insurance
When I renewed with Pets Best recently for my cats, two of which have an ongoing illness; Herpetic eye for one, asthma for another, Pets Best assured me that these cats will not have any exclusions on their policy and they will still pay out for their care on these illnesses which they already have on Perla this month. Pre-existing conditions (conditions that the cat had before you sign up for a policy) are not covered on any insurance policy, though. Such as, Pipsqueaks blood in urine issue caused from his stress level. Although, since he had no crystals/stones after multiple urinalysis', they told me that if Pip were to ever get crystals/stones they would cover that. Different problem from blood in urine. Great insurance company and always there and willing to answer any question or concern you have.Be very careful which insurance policy you get. Some will only pay out for the first year the cat has a condition - ok for a broken leg, not OK for a chronic condition such as diabetes. Others have a low limit on the pay-out any given year, and so on.
Bugsy has a couple of chronic issues, and I have never had a problem renewing or getting coverage. I do not have pet insurance and probably will not get it. I usually just pay out of pocket but I know this is not possible for many. I have a couple of friends that do have it and the companies have already been listed by other posters. Great reviews on the pet insurance from my friends!1st off, I have no idea where to post this question so sorry for that.
2nd. Do you guys have pet insurance? If so who is your pet insurance through?
Thanks!

For those that can not qualify for pet insurance there is CareCredit http://www.carecredit.com/. This is a financing option. From what I understand you use it like a credit card at the vet's offices that accept it. Then you pay off monthly installments like you would any other credit card. Sounds handy to have if you can't get pet insurance and need to pay monthly instead of a lump sum. Just my
There isn't any such think as a medium hair cat, genetically speaking. They are all longhair or shorthair. However the length and quality of the coat varies massively - shorthair can be anything from an Oriental with sleek close-fitting fur under 1/2" long to a coat almost a couple of inches long, and a longhair can vary from a cat where the only clues are a fluffy tail and ear tufts through to a full-coated Persian.Thank You! I have six "short haired" cats BUT three of the six have almost two inch long hair, all siblings too! I always thought that they were considered "medium" hairs. :lol3:There isn't any such think as a medium hair cat, genetically speaking. They are all longhair or shorthair.
