Update on Zeus.
We brought him home today, as there was nothing thing more the vet can do until the cultures return this Friday. The great news is this, he has had no more visible blood today, and the mystery surrounding the source of the blood remains. The vet does not believe that it came from the kidney, which is a huge relief, since that is a much more important organ as far as function and health, but does not remove the alarm or risk completely.
We are happy to have him home, even though we anticipate his returning to the vet next week for further treatment and evaluation. I will keep this thread open until the situation is resolved. I want to thank all those who offered advice, comfort and support in this time of crisis, you guys rock.
