YUCK to anything but clamato juice and vodka

Martinis - the real martini with 1.5 oz dry gin and .5 oz of vermouth (olive opetional) not those odd concotctions with vodka, rye etc served in a martini glass

YUM, and totally agreed about the other "martinis"

Well, since we seem to be on booze...single malt scotch? brand?

A huge YUM to this. I like most that I have tried, and particular faves are Glenmorangie and Laphroaig

Wines, exotic and otherwise - for the record, they are all rotten grape juice to me

You and my Dad would have gotten along fine!

However, for me, wine, provided it's not total plonk, is a definite YUM. Which one depends entirely on how it's being used.

Continuing the theme, then, liqueurs? which?

Creme de cacao - yum! - a Brandy Alexander, the Cosmo of - What decade was that? I forget. Too many of them...

Also, creme de menthe. Those were Grasshoppers. The drink, not the insects! You saw pink elephants, not grasshoppers, after too many of them.

Well, those days are over for me, but in the spirit(s) of the game:

Peppermint Schnapps?
Apricot Schnapps?

hmmm never tried Apricot schnapps

I don't drink anymore but when I did drink I would mix equal parts of Peppermint Schnapps, Bailey's Irish Creme and Khalua. It would knock me on my butt but was very yummy

Yummy! I sort of "accidentally" discovered that drizzling rum over the marshmallows before putting it in the oven is super-yum. It's my new "secret" thanksgiving trick.

Grilled artichokes?
