Heheheheh - the cats, unquestionably, the cats! They have lived with me all of their lives, have grown up with me, and together we adapted our lives to balance in with each others. Then, along comes Joe:-). We have been married nearly 10 months now and I have to admit he understands me better than he understands the cats, but the cats still understand me better than he does!

Poor guy - he is definitely trying, though:-) to understand all of us better.

You just reminded me of one of my all time favourite greeting cards - I bought it probably about 20 years ago. It shows a woman sitting in a rocking chair on the front of the card surrounded by lots and lots and lots of cats on every imaginable surface. The cover says:

"One day I am just going to get away from it all and go live in the country with 100 cats"

You open it up, and inside it reads: "I've already got a start on the cats"

Well seeing as I'm still smarting from last night's argument with my fiance, I have to say, hands down, the cats definitely understand me better.
