I was watching Home Alone this afternoon, and it made me think about how much I love some movies' instrumental music (original scores) that plays in the background.
I love the music that plays in Home Alone when Kevin is getting his house ready for the burglars. (John Williams - Setting the trap)
I also love the instrumental music in How to Train Your Dragon when he flies on Toothless for the first time as well as in the scene where Hiccup and Astrid go flying together. (John Powell - Test Drive and Romantic Flight) But I also like most of the original scores by J. Powell in that movie as well.
The music in the Transformer movies is another (original scores by Steve Jablonsky - basically all of them ) as well as the music at the end of the movie The Island (Hans Zimmer - My name is Lincoln).
I know there are so many more that just make my heart feel good, but those are a few of my faves. How about you???
