Many of us here have had a beloved pet pass away. Afterwards we often angst if we did all we could have, all we should have, did we end it too soon, did we end it too late.
Recently I came across this story of a Marine who lost his special friend. The Marine expressed similar feelings that many of us have. I thought we might find it comforting to know that our feelings of loss and grief are shared by others, even tough Marines and are normal.
