Ginger will get her stitches out in a few more days, and her course of antibiotics will be over. However, I've noticed that she seems to be having a few tummy issues, including soft stools.
I want to give her something to improve her "good" cultures but I don't know when it will be ok to reintroduce cultures into her system, considering she has a still-healing wound.
I've looked in the pet stores for probiotics especially for cats, but can't find any. And after paying her vet bills, we're broke until the 2nd of next month and can't afford to purchase anything further from the vet until then. I do however have yogurt, with live and active cultures. I want to know if it would be alright to give this to her, and when it wouldn't be a hazard to her immune system.
Let me know your opinions, please? And any specific pro-biotic products you know of?
