I'm so excited as Dora and Olivia get to come home from the vets tomorrow (Monday). So here is what happened. While I was on duty Thursday night, I got a call from the fire department. Apparently my neighbors had called in a possible gas leak in the neighborhood and they found out that the leak was coming from my gas fireplace. They shut it off, aired out the house and as a precaution I took Dora and Olivia to the vets on Friday. They checked out fine but the vets office suggested they stay their until I get the all clear from the gas company that it was safe for the kittens to return. The gas company was just here and and scanned the house and it came up clean for any gas odor. I called the vet's office and let them a message that I would be stopping by after my shift was over Monday evening to pick them up.
