Without going into graphic details, the other night, somebody used the litter and it looked like he or she was having a bit of a GI problem. We suspected Speck was the culprit, even though he was sitting in the kitchen minding his own business, pretending like he had been there for hours. A little background on Speck, he hates to have his butt wiped
. You might think he'd like the attention
, but no, he thinks it is the most humiliating thing in the world. We have to sneak up on him and we have to be fast. Well, on this particular night, he was an easy catch. And guess what? It wasn't him!

The next night, the same thing happened. So we got him again! And it wasn't him...again! Poor Pex! Falsely accused and wrongfully wiped! Twice.

oh dear, the indignation.
He isn't going to allow a butt-wipe for a long time.

We think Daisy is the guilty party. But she is so particular about keeping herself clean that she doesn't really require much help. Speck has been treated like a baby all his life, who has now grown into a great lion who obviously thinks having his butt wiped is beneath him.

Come to think of it...he didn't like having his butt wiped as a kitten, either.
