She replied, "Look, dummy, this is MY car, I think the one behind you is YOURS ! !"

I turned around and there was an identical blue '52 Chrysler Saratoga, mine.

It was embarassing, to say the least.

Strange, too, 'cause that particular model of Chrysler wasn't all that prolific, even at the time.

Several years ago I worked in a restaurant at a big mall, and my boyfriend at the time worked there too. After I finished my shift one night, my boyfriend asked me to run an errand while he finished up so we could go out as soon as he got off. He lent me his car to go do it. I took his keys, located his red Escort, unlocked it, and drove off.

I had almost finished the errand when it hit me...his car was a stick shift, not an automatic!! I had taken the wrong car.

Having NO idea what to do, I got back to the mall as soon as I could, parked it as close as I could to where I got it, and left it there. There weren't any police in the lot, so I assume the owner hadn't been looking for it while it was gone.

SO...if you ever come out of a mall and SWEAR you car isn't where you left it...you might be right.

hehehe I unlocked the wrong car once, I drive an UBER common compact car, and its black....but immediately knew it wasnt mine, quietly locked the door and got into my own car.....but to this day, it bugs me - as does Taris story , that in some cars (maybe older/less expensive ones? I dont know, I drive a 99 toyota) the master key will open/start ALL of those cars? Sketchy for sure!

my papaw did something similar once... he went into k-mart and left my granny sitting in the car, he came back out and he was mad about something and was cussing and mymbling to himself and he walks up and sits down in the driver side of the car and is still talking, he looks over and it is a girl that is about 20 yrs younger than him sitting there... he quickly bounced out and walked two rows over where my granny was sitting in their actual car cracking up, since she had watched the entire thing...

Movin' on up!
About 15 years ago, I parked my ex's red Dodge Daytona, in a K-Mart parking lot. I came out, found the car and stuck my key in the lock, only to find that it wouldn't turn. I double-checked, to make sure that I wasn't trying to use the key to MY car. Then, I noticed the car seat, in this red Daytona. OOPS! Ours was two spaces down.

God, can you imagine having Andy Garcia right next to you in a car. I think I'd faint!
I think I will not faint, but I will not drive straight and I will bang into something.

I seriously don't know how to explain it other than, I truly think he is THE most handsome man I've ever seen. God, why don't they make men like that in New Jersey? Or anywhere else, besides TV, for that matter?

HINT: Google Andy Garcia and just drool over all his pics!
