Hi! hope everything is allright.

Gettings to everyone!

I'm a bit worried. I just discovered a wound on my cat. (near the anus).

How does it look to you? Need of urgent care o it can wait until tomorrow. (Pretty much everything is close for the holidays here) 😔😱

Welcome to the Cat Site! And I'm sorry this is what brought you here.

I have no idea what that is. I've never seen anything like it on a cat before. Someone with more knowledge will surely come along soon.

That's very unusual. In the first photo, it almost looks as if something has bitten him. It doesn't, so much, in the others. And I have to wonder if a badly infected anal gland may have formed a fistula. Due to where this is located, and the difficulty with keeping the area clean, have this checked by a vet ASAP.

Thank you for your responses.

I found a vet working today, and under her opinion is a wound 0=. Still don't know how did it happen.
She is an indoor cat and she doesn't fight with her cat brother. 🤷. But we'll, cleaning in the area and antibiotics.
Thank you again.

If you are able, or have someone to help with heavy work, check under upholstered furniture. Sometimes nails, staples, or springs begin to work loose, and can catch an unwary cat in a tender spot.
