My 5 month old indoor kitten has a wound behind his right ear, I noticed some beige dots on the area yesterday thinking may be it's dirty, and while cleaning it some hair fell off and I discover the red dot. His ears are dirty and I have been trying to clean it, would it be possible that he scratched his ears too much which caused this wound? I have seen him scratching his ears. The thing is my kitten just recovered from ringworm last month so I am worried that this is ringworm coming back. Thanks!

Hi! Can you send these photos to your vet, and ask them what they think?
I did, she said both cases are possible, and the earliest appointment isnt until next tues, so I am just a little worried.

Hang in there. If anything changes with it, anything at all, take a picture and send it to the vet again.

Can also be just earmites, and the dirt can be their 💩s 🙈
