Not after the email I got about it today... Here goes.....

>>Something Seriously to Consider
>>
>>
>>
>>In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have
>>
>>demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end
>>
>>of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia
>>
>>coli, (E. coli) bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are
>>
>>consuming 1 kilo of Poop.
>>
>>
>>
>>However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine (or rum,
>>
>>whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a
>>
>>purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
>>
>>
>>
>>Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health; therefore, it's better to
>>
>>drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of
>>
>>
.
>>
>>
>>
>>There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
>>
>>I'm doing it as a public service...

It's so weird you ask that since I got the email about it today... Trippy

It all depends on context. They each have their place, and in their place the other would be inappropriate.

I steer clear of wine now after one too many girly nights out involving wine hee hee, good as they were its the hangover I cant stand
Same here...I'm the world's cheapest date when it comes to alcoholic beverages. Wine turns me into a blob, or a freakin' fruitloop.

Water for me, anytime, thank you!!

Without a doubt wine!
I would take just about anything over water. Lemonade, Diet Coke, Iced Tea, Beer, Koolaid..... give me anything but water!

I would choose water. I've never tried alcoholic drinks until the last few months, but I think I just don't like anything that has alcohol in it. It all tastes disgusting to me. I tried red wine a month ago, thinking it may taste better than beer...but I still didn't like it. & the taste lingered for too long!!

Judging from that empty bottle of White Zynfindale in our recycling bin from last night- i would say wine
That being said i LOVE fresh crisp water as well so i definitely like both.

Apparently my best friend prefers water- she dumped her glass of red wine on my rug last night
