Aw,
I hope you feel better soon!!!
I know how you feel hun - I'm just petrified of dentists. I used to go regularly until I got pregnant and then I started to have all sorts of problems.... I need fillings and repairs and the wisdom teeth pulled. But they want to do it all while I'm awake and then charge the earth for it. I'd rather be put to sleep and have it all done for the price they're asking! 12,500DKK..... £1250 or about $2500. Ish. Don't quote me on that one, but that's the rough approximation. For someone who can't even afford a bus ticket, that's just a little daunting.......Originally Posted by Leto86
I got my wisdom teeth when I was 14. The bottom ones didn't hurt at all. But holy.. the top one on the right.. that hurt, I chewed on stir sticks hoping that it would help somehow. But I chewed so hard that my gums ended up getting cut and bleeding. I haven't gotten any removed.. I am terrified of dentists.. I have actually never been to one... and other than one cavity and one cooked wisdom tooth, they are all fine. But I need to go get the one pulled at least. Eep.
Thats what I thought too!Originally Posted by Hydroaxe
With 1500 bucks on the table I'd probably try dealing with the pain instead too.
Oohhh...maybe I'll get them pulled so I can eat KFC potatoes for a week - I LOVE THEM!Originally Posted by katiemae1277
I got mine out when I was 16 because I had gotten braces and the ortho didn't want any chance of those wisdom teeth messing up the rest of my teeth (whch are beyond perfect) so I had my surgery covered on my parent's insurance- all I remember is when I woke up I was STARVING!!!! I lived on KFC mashed potatoes for a weekMy ex had to get his out while we were together and I don't rember paying much for his, but he actually had insurance at the time, but i do remember that he had bleeding and it freaked me out- I thought he was going to bleed to death! Sorry bout your ouchies though, I've heard that tooth ache pain can be worse than childbirth! I hope I never have eitherfeel better soon!!
