I went to get our mail and noticed something on the ground near one of my large garden beds. I went to see if it was a rabbit since a family of them live in the bed. Nope! It was a bird of prey - I think a Sharp Shinned Hawk. He flew to nearby wires and I got this photo. Guess I had better take my bird feeders down until he moves on to hunt somewhere else.

A place that I worked at was territory for some sort of bird of prey, I know nothing about birds so I don't know which one it was. We had three buildings around a common parking lot and he would always be on top of one of those buildings. Every once in a while he would dive for something. He was impressive to watch when he went for his meal.
