I just love it too, and can place it close to my heart when I feel anxious about what is happening to him.

in regards to Larry (DH)..... I had it covered with a tube sock when I picked him up at the airport last Friday. I said to him that he has to wait until we get to the restaurant (we were going out to dinner on our way home from the airport) parking lot

and I would show him

. When I pulled off the sock, the first thing he said was ......... "Great - everyone will think your husband's name is Wilbur"

and I said yeah and they will also think one of your hands is a paw

. He really does like it and now he is thinking of getting a tattoo. He wants one, but has never been able to come up with anything really meaningful!! I told him to just get a "computer" tattooed on his bulging bicep

. At least he has HUGE sense of humor. I told him I would get his name "Larry" tattoed across my forehead in cursive, if that would make him happy

I even think I caught Perla hauling Walden off somewhere to discuss him getting a "tiger-tat" or something.

Perla and I have our "girl power" meetings and I told her that tattoo's are sexy, so now she wants all the boys to get one.

I actually painted the bottom of his paw with some of my makeup/foundation and pressed his paw on a piece of white paper. I couldn't come up with any other way, that was safe for his paw and easy to wash off. I just let it dry for about twenty-four hours on the piece of paper and then coated it with clear nail polish. I did that just to get the exact size and shape of his pad. Then I took actual pictures of his paw pad. Brought the print and picture in to the artist and she sketched out the paw and shaded in the colors according to the colors in his pads. I just love that fact that it is a drawing of his actual paw pad. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! And, yes, it will be with me always, just like Wilbur will be forever in my heart.
