I've got 7 inside and 2 outside. We always seem to end up with 7 inside. When we had to PTS my Peri in '08 I thought we were finally going down in numbers but then little Torrie came along
She's a brat but I'm glad we have her.

I like that reasoning...it puts us at 1.25 cats apiece. Heck, that's like, nothing!

I have 15 cats (legally/officially) of my own (8 inside & 7 farm kitties). I have one who hasn't taken up permanent residence here, but has been hanging around for 2 weeks now, that is not included in that count. Definitely not a feral, as I can get 2' from him. Two (Lola & Gumby) are semi-permanent fosters, not likely to get adopted, I consider them "mine". So I guess I have 17 + 1 who hasn't decided yet.

I have 3 inside Attitude, Nuts and Maude
and 6 outside Mama, Biter, Half-tail, Runt, Goldie Jr and gray kitty. Gray kitty just showed up one day and I guess he decided to stick around. The other 5 have accepted him. At one point it was 17, 16 of them were outside. We had Mama, Goldie(who disappeared never to be seen again after being spayed), and Biter and one day woke up to find they had decided to move their 13 kittens under our shed. Got rid of all the kittens but 3, well 5 counting Attitude and Nuts.

I didn't know how to make this a poll. Does someone else know how to do it.
Also, I am wondering how in the wordl some of you afford these cats. We just had over a $500 vet bill with Speedboat before we lost him. We were maxed out financially with three. Both of us agree we are not taking another one. We will see these two through, but not take anymore.

The ones that are always there:

Amiga
Lynx
Chester
Haddie
Crystal
Jack
Jill
Aimee
Allie
Cleo
Clover
Mo
Blizzard
Panther
Shadow
Buddy
Storm
Missy
Nightmare

Why did I say that I had that many cats? It was just asking for a new one to invite himself over...

Yep, I guess one more needs to be added to the total. Spring = unneutered male cats looking for some girls. Of course I had nothing to try catch this cat with and had to resort to quickly grabbing its scruff and hoping for the best. I did manage to get him into one of the dog crates at the farm which happened to already have a litterbox and bed in it.

He looks like this cat but is polydactel:

and is currently residing in a large dog crate at the farm. Hopefully by this time next week he'll be already nuetered...but then I'll have to decide what to do with him. Didn't really get to see much of his personality tonight because I kinda ticked the poor boy off

That's gotta be Brenda....right? I (kind of) know her. She's my role model, LOL.

I have 17 indoors. And about 8 outdoor ferals I've had TNRed. I've had 10 TNRed but I think a couple of them are no more
. And there are a few more ferals I haven't caught yet but they eat here regularly.

You'd be surprised how much money people can save if they choose not to regularly go out and eat, don't buy frivolous things, buy needed things on sale/buy off brands/use coupons, etc. Wise budgeting in other words.

I've only got my 3 boys.

At the clinic where I work we have...I can never remember the number. From oldest to youngest it's Bonnie, RaRa, Nanette, GiGi, Simon, Sophie, Banana, Jack, Bandit, Dexter, and Biscuit. So 11.

WOWWWW- I thought I had a lot with 5 at one time and a few fosters (now I'm at 4 resident cats and no fosters- 1 boy and 3 girls) but dam*! (of course I mean the thing that beavers build in rivers
)

17, 9, 16...... How does everyone do it?! I guess if I had a bigger house I'd have more cats. Heck I know I would
. But right now me and my 4 furry children are stuck in a 2-bedroom flat. I'm just thinking right now... I already call my kitties by the wrong names sometimes. Haha like just earlier today I didn't realize for like 5 minutes that I was telling Pirate that he was a good little girl and such a sweet momma (thats what I say to Mia and Sidney even though they're not momma's- well technically Mia is but thats another story)... No wonder he was looking at me like "ummmmmm, hellooooo????"

I have 3 inside cats.. Monster, Mittens, and Precious.

And I just recently took over the care of a stray colony of 21.

So I guess all together I have 24.
