This is not cat related, it's actually a dog, but I thought maybe you guys could help me out. My family has a vacation home in North Ft. Myers, FL. My parents are actually at it right now. The next door neighbor has a pitbull in the backyard that is being abused. They rarely feed him, he almost always has no water. There is no shelter, and his chain is so short and tangled he can barely move. They just called to ask if I knew who they should report this to. Does anyone know who the proper organization in that area is to report something like this? This same man had a dog a couple of years ago that died of starvation because no one reported him. I don't want the same thing to happen to this poor dog.
