Some memorable music has been written for movies, and some movies have become memorable due to their music (mainly songs).

So, which three movie soundtracks did you like most?

I kick off with my unlikely choices, many members may have not even heard of them:
Never On Sunday (Greek songs by Hadjidakis)
Aan (Indian songs by Naushad)
The Third Man (haunting zither of Anton Karas)

I'll think of a third later.
Can I have a TV show? Doctor Who's soundtrack is amazing.

Strictly speaking, the specs ask for movies or films. But let's accept the TV show as a temporary patch-up till you think of the third movie. ;)

The theme song from the movie, The Good, the Bad & the Ugly by Enrico Morricone is iconic!
My newest favorite is the soundtrack from the movie, Nobody - my husband and I can watch it over & over again
Last but not least, Saturday Night Fever

For original music/scores I do love Moana and How to Train your Dragon
Yes I prefer kid movies.
Me too!!!!!

For mainstream songs in movies
Dirty Dancing, Pitch Perfect (all three movies)

That's just off the top of my head...I know there are more movies where I love the soundtrack...just can't think of them right now.

OMG! Stop the fort! I forgot about Willy Wonder and the Chocolate Factory! Who could forget Gene Wilder's beautiful, off-key rendition of Pure Imagination? What is really wrong with me? Hypothetical question. No need to delve into all that.
