Hi guys,

With the limited options of cat food in my country, I've managed to found two brands (well, actually they're from the same company) that fit my budget and with ingredients that aren't too shabby.

The first one, Nutrisource:
Chicken meal, rice, salmon, chicken liver, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), flax seed, tuna meal, pea protein, pea flour, dried egg product, natural flavor, yeast extract, brown rice, beet pulp-dried, oat fiber, dried brewers yeast, alfalfa meal, tomato pomace, salt, potassium chloride, phosphoric acid, sunflower oil, minerals (iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, cobalt proteinate), cranberry powder, minerals (ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, calcium carbonate, zinc oxide, copper sulfate, manganous oxide, sodium selenite, mineral oil, calcium iodate, cobalt carbonate), taurine, chicory extract, vitamins (vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, niacin, d-calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, phytonadione (natural source of vitamin K), biotin, vitamin B12 supplement), ascorbic acid (source of vitamin C), choline chloride, inositol, yucca schidigera extract, DL methionine, rosemary extract, yeast culture (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Aspergillus niger fermentation product, dried Bacillus subtillis fermentation product.

The second one, Pure Vita (grain free):
Chicken, chicken meal, peas, pea flour, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), dried egg product, natural flavor, yeast extract, pea protein, pea starch, pea fiber, dried brewers yeast, tomato pomace, phosphoric acid, salt, potassium chloride, DL methionine, carrots, sunflower oil, minerals (iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, cobalt proteinate), cranberries, apricots, cherries, taurine, minerals (ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, calcium carbonate, zinc oxide, copper sulfate, manganous oxide, sodium selenite, mineral oil, calcium iodate, cobalt carbonate), turmeric, dried chicory root, vitamins (vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, niacin, d-calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement), ascorbic acid (source of vitamin C), choline chloride, inositol, yucca schidigera extract, glutamic acid, rosemary extract, yeast culture (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Aspergillus niger fermentation product, dried Bacillus subtillis fermentation product.

As you can see, Nutrisource contains more meat source but it also contains rice as its second ingredient. While Pure Vita only has chicken as its protein source but it's grain free. So, which one do you think is the better product? Thank you

Just my personal opinion, I would go with Pure Vita (grain free). I like that it has chicken and chicken meal, along with it being grain free.

I would go with the grain-free one.
Also, just because Nutrisource has more meat types listed doesn't mean it contains more meat. Both foods have the same amount of protein actually.

Sure do have a lot of rice and peas in those. Out of those, I'd take what's behind door number 2 please.

Out of those three, Solid Gold would be the best. In general however, Evo would be the best. Nature's Variety is also a great brand.
