My baby Ella got spayed at 5 months old--the vet made an exception, as she seemed to be in heat and there was a male in the house. She got a pain shot before coming home, and painkillers for 3 days afterwards.
Her brother Louis is being fixed next month. The vet said she wouldn't do it for a male before he was 6 months old.
