I honestly believed last night was the night!--I was wrong. After checking her at 9, 10, 11, 12, 3, 6, 9 and 10--it was a long night. My gut tells me it may happen again tonight. At least its friday night, Hubby will be home with her all day and now I have the whole weekend with her.
It is supposed to be 74 and sunny tonight--so I'm uncovering her cage and letting her get some good ol sunlight hoping it'll get those babies a moving! Who doesn't wanna be born on a beautiful spring day?
No babies! She's still eating acting normal however she isn't laying in her nesting box the last 2 days, so I'm not sure if I should remove it--it takes up a lot of space, so if she doesn't wanna use it I hate to have it wasting space. She's been here 17 days today.
Wow, thats quite a long time with no babies coming!
I'd leave the box in there, because she is going to want it later wen the babies come, but if you think she would want to have the babies outside of the box you can.
