I really don't care for country music
I'm there too. Actually I hate country music. It makes me want to hurt something. Not kidding, It turns something angry inside of me.
Except John Denver. I could listen to him for hours.

It depends on my mood.

I really love Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah. His is the one Leonard Cohen preferred. I read a book on its creation and hallelujah here means more resilient than anything else.

Then there's Simon and Garfunkel's The Boxer and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Jimmy Buffett's almost anything.

Roger Whittaker's Last Farewell, Old Durham Town and If

Willie Nelson's Stardust and Crazy

Jed Marum doing Chickahominy River
I LOVE Roger Whittaker's Last Farewell. I didn't even know anyone even remembered that song anymore.
(I like a lot of your other choices as well).

Yeah, I pretty much hate it, too, except for a few singers. My mother used to listen to it all day long. UGH!!!!!
