Yummm all of that sounds so good, I want to try a new pie for the hoildays all of them sound to good to pick though so i might end up making 20 pies hahaha

I make a squash souffle, which is basically a pumpkin (well, butternut squash is similar tasting) pie without any crust (because there's less bad in the filling then in the crust). I like it anyhow.

ETA: I like pies, all pies, on principal of "OMG!! PIE = NOMMY!!!!!" but all the same, if it's not squash souffle/pumpkin pie, it's not a winter holiday.
That said, I used to make an apple crumb pie that was to DIE for. But that was mainly for 4th of July.

I think you were right the first time -nuts eating pumpkins..........oops, did I say that out loud???
