Thanks. They really love having trees out there to play on.
That is really cool that you have trees in your enclosure!
I guess the most ridiculous thing I ever bought for my cats was a house with their own patch of forest attached..
Thanks. They really love having trees out there to play on.

Our enclosure works pretty well for our cats, but it's not 100% cat proof. Button Moon keeps finding a way out. (You'll see pictures of him in the thread Hnadsom Kitty posted the link for.) As we live way out in the middle of nowhere and our cats are all rescued ferals it's not a problem that I can't keep him in, but for your two I'd recommend putting a roof on the enclosure. I imagine two Bengals would have no trouble climbing out of our enclosure.
More pics of the enclosure? Or links to them? We are planning a very small one at some point in the future - would love to see what you did and some details too......
Funny, I have a cat that does the same thing. What were we thinking giving them a bowl to eat from?
Most ridiculous? A food dish. He only eats if he scoops his food on the floor.
Of course they do! I looked into getting my cats one of those, but they don't like even thinking about going outside so I can just see them trying to hide in it.
We got a canvas and mesh "playpen" so the cats could go outside in nice weather. It's enclosed so they can't roam, but they can lay in it, look outside, and enjoy the weather.
They hate it.
Hilarious! I can totally see myself doing something like that.
Off the top of my head...
When I lived in Wisconsin for a year, all the pet stores in the area sold cat trees made by a fellow in the area. http://www.exoticcatjungles.com/ if you are interested -- they are wonderfully sturdy, and I absolutely loved the one I bought -- that particular cat tree was not the ridiculous purchase.
What was ridiculous was that I decided I needed another one, so much that after I moved 12+ hours away and went back to visit my friends a few months later, I decided to get one while I was there. At the time, I owned a tiny Ford Escort, and these cat trees are solid, absolutely nothing that could be taken apart and they have no give. Between me and two of the pet store clerks, we got it shoved into my car (with much creative twisting and spinning of the cat tree and forcing my passengers seat into positions it was never meant to be in). Almost thought I'd had to take one of the clerks home with me because he got trapped under the cat tree, half in the trunk, half on the seat, LOL. The drive home was vaguely terrifying, considering my window and rear view visibility was next to nil, and again, this was a 12+ hour drive.
Finally, I made it home... then had to figure out how to get the thing out of the car...
I found a cat tree on clearance and fell in like with it. I already had 6 cats trees and no room anywhere for another one. Texted a picture to my DD and she said 'Buy it". So I dragged this heavy tree through the store and while paying for it, the clerk asked for my TJMaxx Member Card. It was then I remembered I didn't have my van but my son's 2 door Civic Coop! A guy from the store managed to get it in the passenger seat for me. LOL The cats love it!

A friend of mine bought a cat tree at a cat show in Green Bay (may be the same guy - they're great cat trees!). We live in Milwaukee, and she actually rented an SUV for the weekend just to bring home the tree!

My Princess does the same thing. I am always picking food off the floor.
