What's the best form of potato?

Roast potatoes, boiled new potatoes, chips (aka fries), mashed potatoes.

misty8723 My Dad used to make the best fried potatoes (with eggs). For the life of me, I can't get them crispy.

I can't either, I don't know how my mom did it.

When I saw the title I thought hmmm.. Dutch Cream or Desiree...? It's the Tasmanian in me.. we're heavily into potato varieties.
When I realised what it was all about, it has to be mashed (with Dutch Cream) or home made gnocchi (Desiree).
