Hi there, my name is Marcella, but pretty much everyone calls me Iggy. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that remember my first name. xD Anyway, I'm an eighteen year old amateur novelist. I'm an Italian American and very proud of my heritage. My father lived in Sicily until he was twenty-five, he met my mother on the plane over here and I was born soon after. When my parents were divorced I went to live with my father and stayed with him for many years. He is responsible for my first meeting my darling Peek-a-boo. On my fifteenth birthday he brought me home a tiny little kitten, a Maine Coon mix from the neighbor's huge tabby cat. I wasn't especially delighted when I saw the little ball of fluff. He mostly ignored me the first few days, but probably the end of his first week, he crawled up in bed beside me. When I woke up, he was cheerfully gnawing away at my hand, and I couldn't resist those huge gold eyes any longer. We were and are inseparable even now that I live with my long time girlfriend, Sarah. She's not much of a cat person herself.
Peek-A-Boo and I truly have a unique relationship. He's been more loyal to me than most people could say that their dogs are to them. He follows on my heels everywhere, and if I have to go somewhere, waits patiently at the window or door for me. It's difficult for me to even go and check the mail sometimes, because if he can, he will get out and follow me. He's much too sweet for his own good, my little Peek-a-Boo. Anyway, I'm happy to have found a site that can appreciate the bond between us as much as I do. : )
