I am starving, cant be bother cooking, want to pick up some burger king because there are vouches. but since right now im not tlaking to bf, i want to give him a silent treatment for an hour or so so i guess i gotta cook on my own
I made a poor man's stew with way, way too many starches in it
Browned ground beef seasoned with sea salt, garlic and red pepper, 6 small red potatoes quarted, 2 small cans tomato paste, chopped onion, chopped chives, rosemary and oregano, 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic, 1 can of sliced mushooms, juice and all, and 1 pound of Fusilli pasta all thrown into the crock pot, been simmering since 11am.
Well, there's a potato salad talking to itself in the fridge, but I haven't decided whether to keep it really simple with cold cuts and tossed salad, or throw something (pork chops? smokies? lamb chops? ??) on the BBQ. Later -- when I discover who's going to be at the table I guess!

And what happened was chicken and turkey sausages on the BBQ and tossed salad -- with the potato salad, of course. Followed by fresh blueberries with orange brandy.
For supper, I ate a top sirloin steak (Omaha Steak), green beans, slice of home-made wheat bread, and raspberry ice cream with chocolate chunks. Oh...and I had a cold glass of white cranberry/peach juice.
I'm thinking of chicken with some kind of dry rub, big romaine salad with homegrown scallions, some veggie, and a chocolate dipped biscotti with my coffee. Yum! Love Noni's brand biscotti.
Leftover spaghetti with alfredo sauce and chicken breast.
And I pretty much always drink Diet Coke because I like the taste better than the sickeningly sweet Coke or Pepsi. Doesn't matter what I'm eating with it. I always think that's so silly to think that everyone who drinks Diet pop is trying to lose weight, and I'm sure that's the case all over and not just in the US and Britain.
