What's for dinner? - July 25th

Well, since I have an all electric kitchen, and the power was off.. we went to the pizza parlor. But we didn't have pizza...

DH had his pitcher of beer, and I had a salad and soda. We shared some garlic cheese bread. When we got home, the power (and AC) was back on. DH had some leftover chicken and the kitties were happy the AC was back on.

Now if the cable would come back on, I would be happy.

Well it turns out we did have matzoh ball soup!

We also had steak, mashed potatoes (my favorite) and green beans. Then for dessert they surprised me with a huge strawberry shortcake-type cake! It was really delicious. My friend's friend brought it for my birthday, his mother made it which I thought was really sweet since she's never even met me!

Tomorrow I'm going out to eat with my family at a nice Italian place I like.
