My 3 month old son seems to be feeling better. He has a throat infection and I think the antibiotics are helping.
Oh, that's great. I love stories like these.A senior cat (10 years old) that has spent over half his life at the shelter, is FIV+, blind in one eye, has arthritis and a heart condition requiring daily meds was adopted today!!!!
We still have power. :cross:
That's great, I hope it all works out. I can't understand why people are reluctant to take black cats. My two little black bob-tails are the sweetest, most affectionate kitties ever.
A young woman reserved (i.e., applied to adopt) two cats today. Both of them are adults and all black. One is missing part of an ear and the other only has one eye.that it all works out. Somebody else would like the female with the messed-up ear, but they want to keep her as an indoor/outdoor cat and live too close to a busy street for my tastes.
I learned today that they're due to be picked up on Saturday. There seem to be three reasons why people don't want black cats - superstition, the fact that they're a bit hard to photograph and the difficulty in telling them apart from other black cats. That's great, I hope it all works out.
