I don't know. I don't go only by colour. I look at their little face, and watch their personality, and then decide.

I do know the names would be "normal" names that you would give to a child, and not something like "Snowy" etc.

Like Natalie ca said, I would look at the personality and such, but if I just know the color, this is what I would name them.

all black- Minnie, Panther, Ebony, Spindly
all white- Snow Bell, Snowflake, Cloud, Misty
all grey- Smoky, Smoke, Wispy, Shadey
all orange- Pumpkin, Buddy, Mo, Daniel
tuxedo- Tux, Splotch, Steven, Meows

tabby striped- Stripey, Tiger, Romeo
orange and white striped- Splotch, Marley, Joey

These are just what came to mind!

This is a cute idea. As others have already said, I don't go solely by color. But, these are the names that came to me when thinking about this for a moment:

All black: Emmeline for a female, Oscar for a male.
All white: Oleander for a female, Charles for a male.
All grey (blue): Verity for a female, Ashby for a male.
All orange (red): Sienna for a female, Henry for a male.
Tuxedo: Moxie for a female, Xerox for a male.
Tabby: Gemma for a female, Gibson for a male.
Orange and white (red and white): Flynn for a female, Rigsby for a male.

I usually have pre-selected names, of the Greek theme, that may or may not be given based on color
but if I were to name a kitty based on their fur in my theme:

all black M- Prometheus F- Nyx
all white M- Adonis F- Io
all grey M- Morpheus F- Persephone
all orange M-Achilles F- Hestia
tuxedo M- Bacchus F- Echo
tabby striped M- Zephyr F- Jocasta
orange and white striped M- Helios F-Xanthe

Geez, looking thru the Greek names made me remember all my babies
