Do any of you also have sounds or words for prey that you think your cat might like to see and hunt?
Milly makes this clacking chirpy sound when she sees crows or seagulls outside the windows, so we try to imitate that noise when we see them -- it makes her at least stroll to the window in a pseudo-bored fashion and glance outside. But if we yell, "It's a bug! it's a bug!" she comes galloping as she knows that means a fly, a moth, or a spider. Those are a lot of fun. We also make this certain clacking sound when we see a squirrel outside or what we call, "morsels" (small finches or small songbirds), and she runs for those too. When trash trucks drive by, we yell, "It's your boyfriend!" and make a high keckkeckkeck sound -- another gallop to the windows and she looks out.
