How could I have forgotten about Calvin Klein jeans?
Mine were a size 3.
I remember the torture I went through to acheive big hair - mine is naturally stick straight. I would get these horrible perms, then burn my fingers using a set of steam hot rollers. Shopping malls and dance clubs were the places to go. We went cruising on warm weekend nights...there were a number of small towns where one could cruise...but I don't know if cruising in the 80s was just a regional thing. We listened to Journey, Pink Floyd, Prince, the Cars, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. Also AC/DC and metal bands. MTV was huge. I went to a rural school, so the cars were pretty average, but one boy had a DeLorean and it was a big deal. Fast Times at Ridgemont High was a must see movie. The 80s were great!
