I don't cry at movies, but there are many that are genuinely touching. If I was a crier I might have cried at Gladiator, Beaches, Stella and Awakenings to name a few. Other than Gladiator I don't tend to watch movies that dramatic though. I'd like to see "What Dreams May Come" though. I remember seeing a couple of commercials for it. I think there was a part where the sky or the background scene washed away as if it was a bad dream or something. It looked unique and unpredictible.

So I just watched The Notebook again (first time since I've gotten it on DVD), and I'd like to say that I bawled my eyes out...again.
Right now my roommate and her boyfriend are watching it and even though I can just HEAR it I have no doubt I'll cry again. What can I say? I love love!

I would also like to add that I LOVE Ryan Gosling (Noah Calhoun). He somewhat reminds me of Brendan and besides that he is just GORGEOUS. Yep, I love him.

Umm, remember the Transformers cartoon series? I got hooked on it. Well, they made a movie and I was the only unescorted adult in the theater. Luckily it was a matinee a week after it opened and the theater wasn't crowded 'cuz I cried when Optimus Prime died.

I can find something to cry about in every movie I see, in fact, I rate movies by boxes of kleenex. The Green Mile is on right now and I rate it as a 2-boxer. It's come down to the fact that I wait until the movie is out on video then I can watch it at home and cry in private. I'm such a sap!!!!

How about the Dawn Anna story? Not only does she go through a terrible health condition but it goes into all the children who were killed at Columbine! THAT REALLY had me in tears!

I haven't seen The Notebook yet, but I guess I better! The movie that did it for me was Bridges of Madison County. The Titanic was a tear-jerker too. I also cried over The Green Mile, Legends of the Fall, and Dead Man Walking. A lot of folks said they cried over Passion of the Christ, but I opted not to see it, preferring to keep the emphasis on the Resurrection.
This was a good question! It cleared away the fog!
